Generations of students have enjoyed the same teachers and learning at Mt. Desert Island Elementary School!

I am lucky enough to have my son go to the same public school that I did! It is a magical place. I would love to applaud all of the great teachers at this school. In particular, Shannon Westphal who works to include the community in the art that she teaches; Cecily Garrity for being so patient and kind with kindergarteners; Mrs. Heather Graves who was my music teacher, who looks exactly the same as she did 20 years ago - she cares deeply about music and inspires everyone!

And Mrs. Patty who curates a remarkable garden and greenhouse!
