Learning from Maine

SEASON 2, EPISODE 4:
MORSE HIGH SCHOOL

For high schoolers at Bath's Morse High School,
it's
cool to be kind.

What if.... it was cool to be kind in high school?

Bath's Morse High School has pioneered Unified Academics, a first-of-its-kind program bringing together students with and without disabilities as learning partners. Through courses like Unified Literacy, the school's culture has transformed, with more inclusion and more learning for students with and without disabilities.

Plus, the initiative has had an unexpected benefit: it's created a pipeline of special education teachers all across the district. How did they do it? Watch more in the latest episode of Learning from Maine from Maine Public Television and MaineLovesPublicSchools.org.
