In Bangor, Students Receive an Innovative Education With Real-World Experts!

Ann Marston, a former teacher in the Bangor School Department, is proud of the education her grandson receives!

I taught English and French in grades 7-12 in Bangor for almost 40 years. I am a passionate supporter of free public education for all children. Currently, my grandson is in grade 4 at Fairmount School. His teacher is exceptional. His class was the only one in the state chosen to be coached by NYT writers in how to write an opinion piece. Since I have retired I have enjoyed volunteering at the elementary level.
